Spy Cameras Focus on You, Not Crime

A recurring theme among the gun control and rely-on-police-for-safety crowd: it doesn't work, but it's still a "good idea."

If surveillance cameras are not useful in prosecuting criminals, yet the same politicians and police who advocate gun control still advocate them, then what ulterior motives must be at work here? Do I even have to ask?

The silver lining here, if any, is that this issue falls squarely in the lap of the ACLU. And while they won't lift a Mont Blanc pen for the 2nd Amendment, they will sue anyone that might get a look at what they do in their bedrooms.
